Sunray - Makaha T-Shirt

Sunray Sportswear is a premium basics brand founded in Cornwall, England, but all of its garments are manufactured in Japan using traditional low tension loopwheel and antique circular knitting machines. The brand is best known for heavyweight T-shirts and sweatshirts inspired by 1950s American sportswear, with a focus on timeless fits, durability, and comfort.

The Makaha is Sunray's signature tee, a 300gsm, luxury interpretation of a 1950s athletic tee. Made on a traditional loopwheel machine, the Makaha has no side seams and is cut in a boxy, slightly cropped fit. Due to the low tension during the knitting process of the fabric, the T-shirt has a softer touch than usual.
