Niwaki - Itaya Sake Cups

Beautiful little sake cups made from Acer pictum, a lovely maple from Northern Japan that produces a hard, smooth, light coloured timber perfect for cutlery and drinking wares. Set of two.

Perfect for sake, shochu or whisky, and not bad for espresso either.

There’s something comforting about drinking from a wooden cup, and even more so when you’ve met the man who makes them - the lovely, grinning, chaotic, permanently covered-in-wood-shavings-and sawdust, Sekikawa san.
